Had a proper day in Sydney – botanical gardens were worth every step. Then a cruise ship let its passengers loose all at once, like someone popped a champagne cork and out came a thousand, mostly obese people in matching lanyards. I’ve seen smaller crowds at a grand final. Gave the gardens back to the ducks and went to the museum.
